Johnboy’s Ubuntu Tip #1, How to create su account.

Being a long time Debian user I got used to using the su command when I wish to run as root. Ubuntu uses sudo by default. To enable su, type in the terminal # sudo passwd root , you’ll be prompted for a new unix password. Now you can use the su command to run as root.

Fixing No Space Left On Device Error in Ubuntu Linux

I have written my experience in fixing “No space left on device” error message in Ubuntu Linux. The error prevented me from logging into regular GNOME sessions. I had to use Failsafe terminal mode to find and fix the problem. I digged it under the impression that it’ll help digg users.
